Echolink Node
For the Amateur Community around the vicinity of Kerinchi,
thanks to the assistance of 9W2DTR, he has set up an Echolink
Node.
To gain access to the Node, one will have go to Channel V23
or 145.2875 simplex, enter the DTMF code,
#33 (some stations might not have to enter this code)
while pressing the PTT.
It is also required to please give a 3 second pause in between
transmissions to allow the radio to rest and not get overheated.

Hi,
In haste of posting this blog, SSJ has forgotten one key ingredient, so here it is:
145.2875 or V23
Good work Dexter (DTR), will look forward to work on this node from my base in Cheras.

FYI,
No Tone is used. To know if you can trigger the echolink, just send 08 dtmf and the echolink will let you know if there is any station is connected.
I will post the dtmf code in 1-2days time.
At the mean time, please keep monitoring if you are in the coverage area.Subang Jaya,Ampang Damansara, Cheras and TTDI and any nearby station. Currently, it's only 12W o/p.
I will continue to test on simplex so we will know coverage area.
So far, there is a lot of station log in but no one is available to take their call. Probably we are busy at that time. Most of them is from oversea...USA, China, Brunei etc.
I really hope that the link is utilised and looking forward to monitor the QSO from you guys.
